Creation of the General Council of Official Private Detectives Associations

Sept. 21, 2026

Today I want to share news that, for those of us working in private investigation, brings a sense of excitement and hope.

In Congress, an important step has been taken towards the creation of the General Council of Official Colleges of Private Detectives, a body that would allow the various regional colleges to unite under a single structure and strengthen professional identity at the national level.

Beyond the administrative aspect, this represents something much deeper:

👉 a common framework,

👉 a unified voice,

👉 and a collective commitment to quality, ethics, and transparency in our work.

There are still formal steps remaining —registration, legal validation, and definitive constitution— but the direction is clear. It is progress that can help consolidate our profession, give it greater visibility, and strengthen the trust of those who require our services.

As a professional, I am pleased to see a structure emerging that can provide coherence, institutional support, and renewed momentum for all of us who are part of this sector.
